Botanical name ~ Matricaria recutita

Aroma ~ Strong, warm herbaceous.

Extraction ~ by steam distillation from the flower heads.

Use ~ Calms, soothes and cools the skin. Is very anti-inflammatory.

Country of Origin ~ Nepal / England

Chemical Constituents ~ Trans beta farnesene, chamazulene (responsible for the deep blue colour of the oil), azulene.
