Botanical name ~ Lavandula hybrida super.

Aroma ~ Very similar to Lavender but with a camphorous topnote.

Extraction ~ by steam distillation.

Part of plant ~ from the flowering tops.

Traditional Uses ~ More penetrating and less relaxing than True Lavender. Good for inhalations. A hybrid made by crossing true Lavender with Spike Lavender.

Chemical constituents ~ Linalool, linalyl acetate, 1,8 cineol, camphor.
