Milmani Academy and Orphanage in Kenya  Milmani Academy and Orphanage in Kenya NHR organic Oils has been running the Milman Iattract Academy Orphanage in Kenya next to Lake Victoria for over 15 years now. We fully fund it employing 25 teachers and looking after over 250 children. My vision which started 15 years ago is to change it from a just surviving orphanage, into a thriving private education centre that any child would love to attend, but it is free (no fees) and only for children without parents or desperate need. Over the last 5 years NHR Organic Oils has set up a vegetable garden to feed the children fresh delicious home grown food, and for them to learn about agriculture .A wood working and metal workshop to teach employable skills. and we have now connected electricity and mains water, one of the few centres in that area that is fully connected. This is transforming everyone lives for the better. The next stage is to set up an IT computer centre and increase the wages to the teachers and improve the buildings and sleeping accommodation introduce more apprentice workshops to give the children a better and prepared future and much more. If you feel moved to help every £1 you donate goes directly to the school, no charity to support, no middle man, so a small amount of money, makes a massive difference to them. For example we only need raise an extra £3000 to pay all 25 teachers wages for a whole year a higher rate than the local rate, allowing us to attract and retain the best quality teachers. Thank you!!
