Large 2 Litre Glass Essential Oil Still Distillation Kit

This is a very high precision distillation kit, made with Borosilicate glass. It includes everything you need to start distillation and making your own oils at home or in your own workshop, including a step by step guide to help you distil your own beautiful oils.

This distillation kit can be heated with either a single ring electric heater or gas burner, both types are available from NHR

The kit consists of:

* Full user instructions with step by step guide and photos on using your kit, with explanations about oil extractions and safety instructions

* 2L glass boiling flask, flat base, 2-neck, 24/40 sized ground glass joints

* 2L glass biomass flask, 24/40 joint below and 40/38 joint on top for easy loading/unloading of biomass

* Glass connector still head (steam transfer tube) with 40/38 and 24/40 male ground joints (thermometer adaptor port is on the top)

* Glass coil condenser, 300mm effective length, 24/40 sized ground glass joints, with a spherical joint that allows a wide range of alignment without risk of breakage or loss of seal integrity.

* Glass essential oil receiver/separator funnel with 24/40 joint at top and valve at base

* Hoses 150cm x 2 for condenser water (internal diameter 0.5cm)

* Keck clips x4 to hold condenser, still head, and receiver together

* Glass stopper

* Thermometer adapter

* Joint clamps x2

* 0~200°C thermometer

* Two metal laboratory clamps

* Metal laboratory base and vertical stand

* Silicon grease

This still is perfect for distilling very high quality organic essential oils.

Thermometer and distilling instructions are included, as are cleaning and maintenance instructions.

Essential Oil Receiver Separator

This beautifully designed receiver is an extremely useful piece of equipment which separates the essential oil and hydrosol water produced during the distilling process.

As the distillate output fills the glass tube, the essential oil accumulates at the top of the glass tube and the hydrosol flows out of the copper funnel tube, you then use a pipette to extract the essential oil that is floating on top of the water. A pipette is included with the Separator.

Assembly and Instructions for use: Lightly grease the rubber rings with any oil, then attach the glass tube making gentle circular movements.
Once assembled, place the essential oil receiver separator below the distillate outlet.


Assembled Dimensions:  Height: 18cm, Greatest width: 13cm.
Glass tube: Length: 14cm, Depth: 2cm
