Red myrtle oil is also believed to have a calming effect on the mind and body, making it a popular choice for aromatherapy and relaxation. Red myrtle’s scent is slightly reminiscent of eucalyptus, but is less intrusive, more soothing, and child friendly. Red myrtle is regarded in the highest of esteem for its abilities to stabilize thyroid function, and can also be useful in the treatment of hemorrhoids and urinary tract infections.
