Uses - Red myrtle is often used in vaporizers and diffusers to help
relieve congestion and promote clearer breathing. It can be used topically to
help heal wounds, cuts, and bruises, as well as to soothe sore muscles and
joints. Red myrtle oil is also believed to have a calming effect on the mind
and body, making it a popular choice for aromatherapy and relaxation. Red myrtle’s scent is slightly reminiscent of eucalyptus, but is less intrusive, more soothing, and child friendly. May quell symptoms of insomnia with its slightly sedative effect. Red myrtle is regarded in the highest of esteem for its abilities to stabilize thyroid function, and can also be useful in the treatment of hemorrhoids and urinary tract infections.
