Botanical Name - Cyperus esculentus

Also known as - Earth Almond. Tiger Nut is not actually a nut, but a tuberous root vegetable.

Extraction Method - Cold pressed

Aroma - Mild, sweet, nutty

Country of Origin - Burkina Faso

Uses - Rich in omega 9 and 6, and vitamin E. An excellent oil for sensitive or dry skin - may help treat skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Conditioning and strengthening to damaged or dry hair.

Organic Certificate - This oil is certified organic by the Soil Association, which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Association’s standards exceed the UK government's minimum requirements for organic products in many areas, but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides. Standards are constantly reviewed to ensure they deal with current issues.
