Botanical Name - Leptospermum petersonii

Aroma - Strong, bright, fresh citrussy

Extraction - Steam distilled

Part of Plant - Leaf of the Leptospermum petersonii bush, a relative of the Manuka tree.

Country of Origin - South Africa

Chemical Constituents - Citral, a-pinene, citronellal, geraniol, linalool & neral

Caution - Citral is a potential skin irritant, avoid use on broken skin. Do not use directly in the bath as it may cause blisters.

Uses - Uplifting, grounding and cleansing, therapeutically Lemon Tea Tree is a powerful anti-microbial, anti-septic and anti-histamine. It can be used to combat inflammatory skin conditions, aid sleep and concentration and makes an excellent room deodoriser. A very useful insect repellent, it makes a great alternative to Citronella or Lemongrass. 

It blends beautifully with the cineol oils, especially Niaouli, Lavender, and the Rose scented oils, especially Palmarosa, as well as Sandalwood, Eucalyptus and Tea Tree. Add a few drops to an oil burner or diffuser.

Organic Certificate - This essential oil is certified organic by the Soil Association, which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Association’s standards exceed the UK government's minimum requirements for organic products in many areas, but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides. Standards are constantly reviewed to ensure they deal with current issues.

Sizes 30ml, 50ml and 100ml are not packaged in the metal tins. Please store these larger sizes in fridge/cool dark area

Sizes 250ml to 500ml are bottled in industry-standard aluminium flasks

1kg sizes and above are packaged in industry-standard HDPE plastic
