Caution - People with tree nut allergies may wish to avoid use. Tamanu can increase blood supply to the area, so use with care.
Uses - Rich in omega 9 and omega 6. Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and skin healing. May be beneficial for treating acne, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, stretch marks and dry or cracked skin.
May help as part of a treatment for certain viral skin conditions. Indicated for use with major burns and post surgical wounds when blended with Rosehip. Absorbs well and does not leave skin greasy. With
an SPF of 20, it works well as a natural sunblock.
Organic Certificate - This oil is certified organic by the Soil Association, which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Association’s standards exceed the UK government's minimum requirements for organic products in many areas, but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides. Standards are constantly reviewed to ensure they deal with current issues.
