Botanical Name - Calophyllum inophyllum
Please note - External use only. Tamanu is sometimes difficult to obtain in food grade quality. Currently it is not.
Caution - Avoid with nut allergies. Use with care as it can increase blood supply to the area. The dark green colour may stain fabric.

Country of Origin - Madagascar
Uses - Rich in omega 9 and omega 6. Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and skin healing. May be beneficial for treating acne, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, stretch marks and dry or cracked skin. Indicated for use with major burns and post surgical wounds when blended with Rosehip. Absorbs well and does not leave skin greasy.
Organic Certificate - This oil is certified organic by the Soil Association, which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Associationís standards exceed the UK government's minimum requirements for organic products in many areas, but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides. Standards are constantly reviewed to ensure they deal with current issues.
