Botanical Name - Cymbopogon citratus

Aroma - Sharp, sweet and lemony

Extraction - Steam distillation

Part of Plant - Leaf/grass

Country of Origin - Sri Lanka

Chemical Constituents - Citral, geraniol, methylheptenone, limonene

Caution - Possible skin irritant in high concentrations

Uses - Strengthening and supporting to the nervous system, great for long term exhaustion. Helpful for aching muscles as it can aid in draining lactic acid and boosting circulation. Useful for oily or acne prone skin in a blend with other oils.

Mind & Spirit - Blend with Ylang Ylang for a joyous uplifting blend
