Botanical Name - Pogostemon cablin

Sweet, deep, rich and earthy
 
Extraction - Steam distillation. 

Appearance - The colour of the Patchouli can vary depending on the type of still used. Iron stills produce a dark brown oil and the stainless steel stills produce a golden to amber coloured oil.

Uses - 
It has excellent diuretic properties, it is effective in fighting water retention and to break up cellulite, easing constipation and possibly helping weight loss. Patchouli oil is a superb tissue regenerator, which helps to stimulate the growth of new skin cells. It also has astringent and deodorising properties. It is used to treat acne, acne, eczema, sores, ulcers, any fungal infections, as well as scalp disorders.
