Extraction - Steam distillation (this method is rare and difficult to obtain)
Part of Plant - From the petals, handpicked at dawn when the fragrance is at its best. Around 1200 roses are used to make just 1ml of essential oil!

Chemical Constituents - Citronellol, geraniol, nerol
Uses - Beautiful and joyful, the queen of oils. Excellent in skin care especially for dry, mature or reddened skins. Nurturing and gentle, it opens the heart and helps to release states of anger, anxiety or sadness.
Please note - Organic Rose is a specialist oil and at temperatures below 20°C it can crystallize. Please place in a warm place to return to liquid.
Please also be aware that 1ml and 2.5ml sizes come in a 5ml bottle so will not appear to be full.
For this precious oil, we recommend to use a glass rod or similar such as a toothpick to extract the oil from the bottle rather than using the dropper.
