Botanical Name - Daucus carota sativa/sesamum indicum

Aroma - Mild, earthy

Extraction Method - Maceration, by steeping the fresh carrot juice in organic sesame oil. 1 kg carrot juice from 1.5 kg carrots, per 1 kg of sesame oil. The sesame oil and carrot juice mixture is then filtered and decanted.

Country of Origin - France (Carrot), Uganda (Sesame)

Caution - Avoid with nut and seed allergies due to sesame base

Uses - Carrot oil energises the skin's natural regenerative processes and is deeply nourishing, especially to the throat and neck area. It adds a hint of colour to facial products giving skin an added glow and it also makes a good scalp treatment. 

Rich in antioxidants, Vitamins A, E and Beta carotene this oil is made by macerating the roots of wild carrot in pure, organic sesame oil. It can be used by all skin types but is especially lovely for dull, dehydrated skins that are lacking in nourishment and vitality. May offer some UV protection.

Organic Certificate - This oil is certified organic by the Soil Association, which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Association’s standards exceed the UK government's minimum requirements for organic products in many areas but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides. Standards are constantly reviewed to ensure they deal with current issues.

All sizes above 100ml are bottled in industry-standard plastic or aluminium, dependent upon shipping location
