Extraction Method - Cold pressed
Aroma - Medium strength aroma, slightly grassy
Colour - Camelina can be opaque and greenish when it is unrefined
Origin - Spain/UK/Poland
Uses - Camelina is a relatively dry oil, so is a good addition to blends for normal to oily skin. It's anti-oxidant and anti-ageing properties can be harnessed for drier skins when mixed with richer oils, such as macadamia or rosehip. It helps to restore the skin's elasticity and is packed with anti-oxidants and EFA's including high levels of omega 3. It can help combat skin dehydration and is thought to deepen the appearance of a tan.
Organic Certificate - This oil is certified organic by the Soil Association, which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Association’s standards exceed the UK government's minimum requirements for organic products in many areas but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides. Standards are constantly reviewed to ensure they deal with current issues.
