Uses - Rich in fatty acids, vitamin E and antioxidants. As Babassu is high in lauric acid with a low molecular weight, it has great compatibility with the hair. Great for massaging and improving the blood flow of the scalp, which in turn, promotes a healthy and more rapid hair growth.
Because of the lauric acid, its properties very similar to Coconut oil.
Suitable for all skin types, but particularly dry or oily skin. Its high absorption rate and emollient properties make it ideal for use in the bath, for massage and skin care. Leaves the skin soft, with a protective coating. It also has some sunscreen properties.
Organic Certificate - This oil is certified organic by the Soil Association, which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Association’s standards exceed the UK government's minimum requirements for organic products in many areas, but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides.
