Botanical Name - Cymbopogon martinii

Aroma - Geranium or Rose-like, sweet and floral

Extraction - Steam distillation

Part of Plant - Fresh or dried grasses

Country of Origin - Nepal/India

Chemical Constituents - Geraniol, geranyl acetate, linalool

Uses - Deeply moisturising and hydrating to dry/hard skin, as it helps retain moisture and encourages natural sebum production. Valuable in all types of skin care and also lightly antiseptic.

The Soil Association’s standards exceed the UK government's minimum requirements for organic products in many areas but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides.
