Aroma - Strong, camphorous and herbaceous

Extraction - Steam distillation

Chemical Constituents - Thujone, camphor, caryophyllene

Caution - Practitioner guidance is recommended as this is a powerful oil. Avoid with high blood pressure, pregnancy and epilepsy.

Uses - Warming and stimulating. Julia Lawless' Encyclopaedia of Essential oils describes Common Sages as anti inflammatory, anti-microbial, antioxidant, antispasmodic, among many other properties.
